“Ukrainophobia” of His Beatitude Onuphriy and Ukrainophilia of Metropolitan Vladimir
Today we’d like to speak about, perhaps, one of the most inconsiderable and innocent manipulation having been popularized by the Ukrainian mass media. The point is that current Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Onuphriy, and Metropolitan Vladimir who reposed in the Lord two years ago, are being opposed.
“The most faithful” media experts and journalists, in an attempt to emphasize an anti-Ukrainian position of Metropolitan Onuphriy, began to talk, vying with each other, about patriotism and pro-Ukrainian position of the preceding Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Actually, have they ever spoken like that before and what do all these highlights target?
