Mass media: Serbian Church is not quitting Pan-Orthodox Council
The Serbian Orthodox Church is not going to leave the Pan-Orthodox Council. It was told by one of the participating bishops of the Council, as reported by RIA News.
"There is no question of the Serbian Church quitting the Council. There are no grounds thereto, representatives of the Orthodox Church of Serbia are happy about the course of the Council and the discussions held,” he said.
It will be recalled the Church of Serbia refused to participate in the Council but after a while confirmed its participation upon one condition: in the event the absent Local Churches ignore comments, It reserves the right to quit the Council.
