Official Documents of Pan-Orthodox Council published on the site of the Council
Texts of the documents of the Holy and Great Council of the Orthodox Church, which took place in Crete on June 16-27, are published on the official site of the Council.
The hierarchs of the Orthodox Churches adopted the following documents:
Encyclical of the Holy and Great Council of the Orthodox Church;
The Importance of Fasting and Its Observance Today;
Relations of the Orthodox Church with the Rest of the Christian World;
Autonomy and the Means by Which it is Proclaimed;
The Sacrament of Marriage and its Impediments;
The Mission of the Orthodox Church in Today’s World;
These documents were sent to the representatives of all the local Churches, including those that did not participate in the work of the Council.
Recall that the Ecumenical Patriarchate declared decisions taken at the Holy and Great Council mandatory for all the Orthodox Churches, including those which did not send their representatives to it.Read also
