Right-wing radical forces choose new tactic to discredit Cross Procession
Today the Cross Procession, moving from the Holy Dormition Svyatogorsk Lavra, faces another provocation by right-wing radical forces of Ukraine. 20 km from Poltava, a poster with obscene content was hung on a newly built pedestrian bridge, under which the religious procession was moving.
In the forest belt on the sidelines, the Cross Procession was awaited by men in camouflage to do the photo and video recording of the faithful going under the controversial poster. In it the religious procession was equated to a LGBT march, and a "still l", laid out on Easter cake hinted at the genital organ.
"These people do not even realize that by this "poster" first of all they discredit themselves, – said Archimandrite Iosaph (Kovetsky), head of the Procession. – Of course, their purpose is to throw us off balance, to hurt, to anger. It will never happen. We pray also for their lost souls."
The All-Ukrainian Cross Procession for peace, love and prayers for Ukraine continues. Believers can join the column anywhere en route.
