More than 20 thousand believers attend Cross Procession to Pochaev
As the source of ALS, since the beginning of the Cross Procession from Kamenets-Podolsky to the Pochaev Lavra the number of pilgrims has doubled, reports a UOJ source. Today the Procession is attended by almost 20 thousand faithful.
Today, 22 August, pilgrims are planning to reach the village of Medin, Podvolochisk district, Ternopil region by 20.00. This is the destination of today's route. According to a UOJ correspondent, in this area there is no UOC church.
The believers intend to get to the Pochaev Lavra on August 25.
The Procession set off on August 19 from Kamenets-Podolsky, Khmelnitsky region.
The UOJ is monitoring the developments.
