In Rovno UOC diocese there will be held Cross Procession with great Orthodoxy sanctities

During one month there will go on a Cross Procession with great Orthodoxy sanctities in Dubno deanery. It is reported by the eparchy’s site.

On 27 August, on the eve of the Dormition holiday of the Blessed Virgin, in the 1st Dubno deanery there will start a Cross Procession with great sanctities of the Orthodox world – with a piece of Life-giving Cross of the Lord, relics of the Venerable Theodore, Prince of Ostrog, and Saint Nicholas, archbishop of Myra, the Wonderworker.

The sanctities will be met on August 24. On this day in Saint Elijas church in Dubno city there will be held a festive conciliar Divine Liturgy and moleben service on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine. The sanctities will be held here till the beginning of the Cross procession. 

The Cross procession will start with the all-night vigil in St. Elijah church in Dubno city on August 27, then move on via Pticha, Milcha, Povcha, Ivanna, and finish with a Divine Liturgy in St, Michael church in Piriatin village on September 19.
