Three women run down by Greek-Catholic priest in Transcarpathia

October 20, about 23:00 the police department of the Transcarpathian region was reported of the accident in the village of Podvinogradov. According to the press service of the National Police, the person responsible for the car accident turned out to be a 78-year-old Greek Catholic priest. The examination revealed the presence of alcohol in the blood of the cleric.

The police found that in the Transcarpathian region the driver, moving in the direction of Vinogradov on the car "Audi", lost control. As a result of the traffic accident, victims, the local residents aged 63, 76 and 51, died from severe injuries on the spot.

The cleric responsible for the accident has been detained. The case is under investigation.
