Catholic theologians find "Divine phenomena" on the Maidan

The Department of Pastoral Theology of the Philosophical and Theological Faculty of the Ukrainian Catholic University will hold a scientific-practical conference "God on the Maidan: reality or myth", reports the University website.

The announcement says that among the objectives of the conference are "a scientific discussion about the sense of other world by participants of 2013-2014 Revolution of Dignity" and a scientific analysis of "the unique phenomenon of the experience of God on the Maidan."

Within the scientific discussion the theologians plan "to argue the influence of the supernatural world on the behavior of people who opposed to violence through peaceful protest," to investigate "personal experience of God on the Maidan" and answer the question: "How has the Revolution of Dignity led to a change in the mentality of our citizens?"

The conference will be held on December 15, 2016.
