Odessa diocese prays for victims of 2 May tragedy (VIDEO)

On 2 May, the third the anniversary of the tragic events in Odessa on May 2, 2014, with the blessing of Metropolitan Agathangel of Odessa and Izmail, Bishop Diodor of Yuzhnoye performed a funeral service for the Odessa citizens who died on the site of the death of the first victims of the May tragedy in Preobrazhenskaya Street, reports the press service of the Odessa diocese.

After the prayer, the clergymen laid flowers at the place of the tragedy in memory of the deceased.

Then Bishop Diodor and the clergy arrived in the Kulikovo Field, where on May 2, 2014, several dozen Odessites died in Odessa's House of Trade Unions. Here, a funeral service was also held and flowers laid.

On May 2, with the blessing of Metropolitan Agathangel, in all churches of the Odessa diocese, funeral services for the dead on May 2, 2014, are performed.
