Priests of the Ternopol eparchy with OSCE representatives
On September 26, 2018, there was a meeting of the priests of the Ternopol eparchy with the OSCE representatives in Kremenets, reports the press service of the eparchy.
Protopriest Vitaly Gurev and Protopriest Georgy Prokopchuk reported the latest events that occurred in the villages where the temples of the UOC were grabbed. Also, the clergymen expressed their opinion on the activities of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, which implements projects in the sphere of religion.
The clergy expressed gratitude for the opportunity to communicate with the OSCE representatives, as well as the hope that this meeting will bear fruit.
Earlier in Kotiuzhiny, a new temple of the UOC was consecrated instead of the one taken over by schismatics.
As the UOJ reported, the head of the Representative Office of the UOC to the European international organizations, Bishop Viktor of Baryshevka, speaking at the OSCE session in Warsaw, said that the situation of the UOC in 2018 worsened due to continuing violations of religious rights.
