His Beatitude Onufriy offers condolences to relatives of Kerch victims

His Beatitude Onufriy, Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine, expressed condolences to the relatives of those who had died in the tragedy of Kerch, informs the Information and Education Department of the UOC.

“The pain in my heart was caused by the news of the death of people in Kerch,” Bishop Clement of Nezhin and Priluki, the head of the Information and Education Department of the UOC, reports. “I pray that the All-merciful Lord will rest the souls of the lost, heal the wounded, comfort the hearts and wipe the tears of their loved ones.”

As the UOJ reported, today, on October 18, in the temples of Simferopol and Crimean eparchy, prayers are being offered for the repose of those who died as a result of this tragedy.

The clergy of Feodosiya and Kerch eparchies of the UOC, in whose territory the tragedy occurred, provide the necessary assistance to the casualties and their families. Also, fund-raising is announced in all the churches across the Crimea.
