The fifth President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is sure that a serious information struggle is being waged against the “army, faith and language”, which can lead to devastating consequences for the state, reports “Interfax”.

In his interview to the “Ukraina” TV channel P. Poroshenko said that “regrettably, we are experiencing a huge number of attacks in the informational environment, including by the aggressor country. This is an element of a hybrid war".
In particular, attacks on the Ukrainian army are continuing, "while parades have been cancelled, and the level of social protection of Ukrainian service members has declined," which should not be allowed and which is "extremely dangerous," he said.

Along with this, the ex-president believes, the attack on the “Ukrainian church” has intensified. According to him, “the law enforcement and judicial bodies have already joined this, including by making attempts to cancel the registration of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine – the only Ukrainian Church. This cannot be allowed”.

In addition, the former president is concerned that "plans have already been voiced to cancel the quotas and the language legislation and introduce a second official language - so far in certain regions." P. Poroshenko is convinced that "this will have disastrous consequences for the state".

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the UOC-KP believes that the OCU and Epiphany Dumenko are Poroshenko’s main weapons against the new power.
