Metropolitan Clement of Nizhyn and Pryluki, the chairman of the Synodal Information and Education Department of the UOC, commented on the video, in which people were allegedly singing a song about "the awakening of Mother Rus" in one of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra’s temples. The comment was published by the Telegram channel “Politika Strany”.
"Probably, among the many problems that are now in the direct competence of the state law enforcement agencies, the analysis of women's singing, recorded on a video of dubious origin and of equally dubious dissemination, should have given in the attention of the top leadership to the challenges of statehood, which generate incomparably more public interest," said Vladyka Clement.
As reported, the SBU launched an investigation into the video from the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, which after being published on social networks was considered fake by many users.
