The SBU reported the suspicion to Archbishop Job of Shumsk, rector of the Pochaiv Theological Seminary. The information was published in the telegram channel of the SBU.

According to the security forces, the Security Service has collected "unconditional evidence" of the "anti-Ukrainian activities" of the bishop. The SBU claims that he “spread “messages” through social networks that humiliated the national honor and dignity of Ukrainians. Also, by his actions, he contributed to inciting religious enmity and hatred.

According to the SBU, the hierarch did all this through an anonymous Facebook profile, in which he “used the narratives of Russian propagandists.” In addition, in the place of residence and premises of the seminary, the SBU found “literature that repeated the ‘theses’ of the Kremlin regarding the internal situation in Ukraine.”

On the basis of these facts, the SBU announced to the archbishop a suspicion under Part 1 of Art. 161 (violation of the equality of citizens depending on their race, nationality, regional affiliation, religious beliefs, disability and other characteristics) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Let us recall that earlier Metropolitan Theodosy said that the SBU officers, who “found” the flag of “Novorossiya” in the Zolotonosha Monastery, “made a laughing stock of themselves in front of the whole country.”
