Archpriest Alexander Bakhov, head of the Legal Department of the UOC, spoke about how the authorities fight not with individuals who violate the law, but fight with the Church. He spoke about this during the press conference “Results of the UOC in 2022”, which takes place on December 29 in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.

“Despite the assurance of the officials that they were taking appropriate counter-terrorism measures to identify 'unreliable elements', the totality of circumstances proves that the fight is waged not against individuals who violate the law, but against a religious structure, against the Church,” said the head of the Legal Department of the UOC.

Archpriest Alexander emphasized that by outlawing the UOC, some politicians believe they are at war with Russia, but in fact they are at war with the Ukrainian people.

As the UOJ reported, at the final conference, the head of the Legal Department of the UOC spoke about the raider seizures of the temples of the UOC.
