Roman Catholic nuns from Indonesia congratulated Muslims on ending Ramadan and the Eid festival (celebration of the fasting – Ed.) by singing the Islamic song “Selamat Lebaran”, the Indonesian news portal kompas.com reports.

The nuns are members of the Sisters' Congregation of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart from Jakarta. The video was shot on May 19, 2020 in a Catholic chapel.

The Selamat Lebaran song, traditional for Muslims, contains phrases such as “this is the day of victory after fasting over Ramadan, when we held back the passions and endured trials in the month of Ramadan ... happy Eid al-Fitr.”

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that Masons praised the Pope for signing a "brotherly" document with Islam, while Islamic militants killed 23 Christians during Ramadan in Nigeria.
