Kyiv Metropolis congratulates UOC Primate on his St. Patron’s Day

On June 24, 2020, on the eve of commemoration of the Monk Onuphry the Great, the staff of the Kyiv Metropolis Office of the UOC congratulated His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and all Ukraine on the upcoming Angel Day. This was announced on his Facebook page by the UOC Chancellor, Metropolitan Anthony (Pakanich) of Boryspil and Brovary.
In his welcoming remarks, on behalf of the clerical staff, Vladyka Anthony thanked the Archpastor “for his wise tutorship, parental guidance, and constant prayers for all”, wishing the UOC Primate good health and God's help in his difficult obedience of leading the Church.
As reported by the UOJ, in 2019, delegations of the Alexandrian, Serbian, Bulgarian, Cyprus, Polish, Czech Churches and the Orthodox Church in America arrived in Kiev to participate in the celebration of St. Patron’s Feast of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry.
