Many want to look like heroes but are afraid to go to the front, so they are looking for "enemies" among unarmed people inside Ukraine, said Archbishop Pimen of Rivne and Ostroh during a conversation with journalists outside the UOC building, reports the UOC press service.

When asked why the temples of the UOC are seized by people who have nothing to do with the Church, the hierarch answered: "At this time everyone wants to be a hero. But most do not want to be a hero at the front line, and therefore they must find an enemy here, close to them, and they have found the ‘enemy’ – the UOC. <...> Here are the achievements: raided the church, the loot, put a tick, and applauded".

At the same time, Archbishop Pimen noted that the faithful and clerics of the UOC will never offer armed resistance, so such people willingly fight the Church.

As reported, members of the UOC Synod waited for two hours outside the OP in the hope that they would be received by the President.
