UOC Primate: Condolences to victims of strike in Uman, Dnipro, Kyiv region
The Primate of the UOC expressed condolences in connection with the collapses of residential buildings in Uman, Dnipro and Kyiv regions.
His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry expressed condolences in connection with the collapses of residential buildings in Uman, Dnipro and Kyiv regions, reports the UOC Information and Educational Department.
"The Ukrainian Orthodox Church expresses sincere condolences in connection with this terrible tragedy. May the Merciful Lord repose the souls of the innocent killed in the homes of the righteous," the message says.
As a result of the missile strike, people died: in Uman, 15 people, including small children, were killed in the explosion. A large number of those injured are in hospitals.
"We sympathize with the relatives and friends of those who died as a result of this tragedy and express sincere words of support to everyone who suffered from this terrible event. May the Merciful Lord repose the souls of the innocent killed in the homes of the righteous. We offer our humble prayers for the recovery of the wounded and those who have lost their homes," said the Primate of the UOC.
