The Chairman of the Commission on transfer-acceptance of property of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Maryana Tomin said during a TV marathon that the Commission of the Ministry of Culture inspected 11 out of 79 objects of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Reserve, reports babel.ua.

"This week we have managed to examine in a full quiet technological mode 5 buildings. They are Building 43 (cells of local importance), Building 48 (the Warm Temple), and also Buildings 54, 56 and 57, two of which are monuments of local importance, and one is a monument of national importance," Tomin said.

Another 10 sites are scheduled for inspection on Monday, May 1. The commission intends to speed up its work.

Regarding the condition of the facilities, the official said five of the 11 are in satisfactory condition.

"Buildings 54 and 57 are in very good condition. But these are the structures where the representatives of the monastery are located ... And I think you have seen the previous ones, in what condition building 112 is," added the chairperson of the Ministry of Culture commission.

As earlier reported, Ostapenko complained that the Reserve has no money to maintain the Lower Lavra.
