Culture Minister Oleksandr Tkachenko said that the commission completed its inspection of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and demanded that the UOC vacate the monastery within three working days. Tkachenko published a statement to this effect on his Telegram channel.

According to him, if the UOC does not leave the territory of the monastery, "a court will take place to make an appropriate decision to remove the obstacle to the Reserve's use of the property".

Tkachenko also said that the commission of the Ministry of Culture "checked and returned to the state ownership of 79 objects of the Lavra":

"All in different states. The UOC-MP has allowed unauthorized rebuilding, completion, redevelopment of cultural heritage monuments and construction of new buildings on the territory of the Reserve," he said. “Today, representatives of the Monastery refused to accept the Act of Acceptance of the state property through the clerk's office.”

As reported, a commission of the Ministry of Culture with the help of a grinder and without appropriate documents sealed the gallery of Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
