Filaret Denisenko said that the head of the OCU Epiphany Dumenko was waiting for his death in order to take possession of his residence in Pushkinskaya in Kyiv. He stated this in a video interview with the PavlovskyNEWS telegram channel.
Denisenko said that Patriarch Bartholomew personally asked Vladimir Zelensky to help destroy the UOC-KP. Filaret also said that the US State Department is involved in this process.
“The Secretary of the State Department met in Kyiv with Metropolitan Epiphany, and we have a suspicion that Epiphany is using his meeting with Secretary of State (Mike) Pompeo to fulfill the request of the Ecumenical Patriarch,” Filaret said.
At the same time, Denisenko believes that "America must answer whether it supports the destruction of the Kyiv Patriarchate or not."
As reported by the UOJ, earlier Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople said that the Kyiv Patriarchate had never existed. According to Filaret Denisenko, Patriarch Bartholomew seeks the destruction of the Kyiv Patriarchate.
