On 19 July 2023, participants of the ROC Bishops' Сonference said that the Ukrainian authorities are the followers of the Bolshevik God-fighters, reports the website patriarchia.ru.
The final resolution of the Bishops' Conference said that "today in Ukrainian land the state power has revealed itself as a direct follower of the Bolshevik God-fighters and launch persecutions against the Orthodox Church".
The ROC bishops also reported that "faithful children of the Church are being expelled from churches, hierarchs, clergy and laity are being subjected to unjust arrests and dishonest trials, shrines are being desecrated and plundered", and the ROC bishops are particularly troubled by reports that the UOC clergy and laity "are being forced to renounce God's truth and pushed into schism".
As earlier reported, according to Patriarch Kirill, the Phanar is a tool in the fight against Orthodoxy.
