The head of the "Servant of the People" faction, David Arakhamia, said in an interview with "RBC-Ukraine" that voting in the Verkhovna Rada on religious issues takes place freely.
At the same time, he emphasized that those deputies who do not wish to support the list of "mandatory" draft laws should resign from their mandate.
"When there are international commitments made by the state, I don't see a corridor for a diversity of opinions. These decisions should simply be carried out as promised," he said.
As reported, the parliamentarian stated that the Rada refused to consider a draft law on the UOC ban as the required number of votes could not be gathered.
