Primate of Church of Cyprus to convene Holy Synod

The Primate of the Orthodox Church of Cyprus, Archbishop Chrysostomos, intends to convene a meeting of the Holy Synod in the near future, reports the Orthodoxia News Agency.
According to the resource, the Holy Synod is expected “to bring to the table all the issues that have been plaguing the church of Cyprus lately, with the issue of the commemoration of the Metropolitan of Kiev Mr. Epifanios being prominent”.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the theologians of Cyprus demand the Council be convened on the "Ukrainian issue".
