With the blessing of the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry, a new UOC parish of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker has begun its activities in the German city of Düsseldorf, the head of the parish, Father Vladislav Fomenko, told the UOJ.

Services in the parish will be held every Sunday at 9:00 AM and every Saturday at 5:00 PM at the address: Mindener Str. 20, Düsseldorf.

According to the parish priest, there will be a gathering and a communal meal with the faithful after each Sunday morning service.

Father Vladislav also highlighted that the UOC Synod, as of May 27, 2022, expressed the need to develop a spiritual mission abroad among Ukrainian Orthodox believers to preserve faith, culture, language, and Orthodox identity.
