UOC Primate expresses condolences over Russia's missile strike on Hroza

Primate of the UOC His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry expressed condolences in connection with the death of 52 people as a result of a missile attack of the Russian Federation on a cafe in the village of Hroza, Kharkiv region, reports the press service of the UOC.
The Primate of the UOC expressed his condolences to Bishop Ioann of Izium and Kupiansk, as well as to the families of the victims and the injured.
His Beatitude noted that the missile strike on Hroza was one of the brutal crimes against the Ukrainian people and exposed the diabolical malice that the enemy of the human race managed to sow in the hearts of people.
"In the current cruel realities, when pain and despair confuse our souls, I urge everyone: let us not lose God! I pray for the repose of the dead, ask God's mercy for the wounded and believe that the Almighty will give strength to the relatives of the victims and all of us to the best of our ability to help everyone in need and support those who are now in this terrible trouble, which the war has brought to our land," His Beatitude Onuphry said.
The missile attack on the village of Hroza in the Kharkiv region took place on 5 October 2023. The missile landed on the building of a local cafe where a wake was being held after the reburial of a Ukrainian serviceman. According to official information, as a result of the strike, 52 people were killed, and 6 more people were injured.
As reported, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry congratulated the soldiers on Ukraine's Defenders Day.
