UOC Intercession Cathedral of Zaporizhzhia suffers from shelling

On the night of 18 October 2023, the Intercession Cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Zaporizhzhia suffered from a missile strike, reports the group of the cathedral.

The windows in the temple were broken, the entrance doors were mutilated, and the floor was strewn with shards of glass and remnants of window wooden structures. Parishioners are asked to help restore order.

According to the authorities, a missile strike hit a neighbouring apartment building, killing two people and injuring several others.
