On 12 November 2023, Metropolitan Feodosiy of Cherkasy and Kaniv of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church told human rights activists about the persecution of the UOC.
Before the court hearing of the prosecutor's motion for arrest, Metropolitan Feodosiy spoke with international human rights activist O.S. Denisov.
The main legal aspects of the most resonant cases against the UOC were analysed on the example of the Cherkasy and Kaniv Eparchy.
Also, the interlocutors talked about the tactics of defence of the UOC abroad by the lawyer of the UOC Synod, Robert Amsterdam, and noted that UOC cases are used in the electoral struggle in the USA and the possible consequences of all this for Ukraine.
As reported, Metropolitan Feodosiy is again attempted to be closed in the pre-trial detention centre.
