Assistant Bishop of the Kyiv-Zhytomyr diocese of the RCC in Ukraine Oleksandr Yazlovetsky commented on Facebook on the Vatican's permission to bless same-sex couples.

He expressed doubt "that any of our bishops, priests or deacons will take advantage of the opportunity given today by the Dicastery of the Faith". At the same time, he allowed that "there may be exceptions".

"If such a couple in an 'irregular situation' sincerely seeks a blessing for a decision to radically change their sinful life, then, of course, it is possible to give it, but we have been doing that anyway," Yazlovetsky said.

As reported, the Vatican allowed priests of the RCC to bless same-sex couples.
