The "priest" of the OCU Yuriy Bolshakov, who twice attempted to seize the St. Panteleimon temple of the UOC in Vyshhorod, profited from the sale of cars donated by benefactors for the Ukrainian army, and was repeatedly detained by the police for drunk driving. This was reported in a video address by the rector of the Vyshhorod temple, Archpriest Dionisiy Denysenko.

"He (Bolshakov – Ed.) has problems with the law," said Fr. Dionisiy. "The police themselves said off-camera that he was repeatedly caught under Article 130 – drunk driving. People call and report that he has violations of the law – fraudulent actions. He said that he takes cars as humanitarian aid for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and there were facts that he had resold them in Kyiv. What do you call such kind people?!"

The priest noted that on February 24 at seven in the morning, the intoxicated Bolshakov came to the UOC shrine, took the keys from a parishioner working there, pushed her away, closed the door, put his lock on it, and declared, "This is our church."

According to the UOC rector, numerous witnesses of the attempt to seize the temple can confirm that there was a smell of alcohol oozing from Bolshakov and other OCU clerics.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that footage of the "prayer service" of the OCU in front of the St. Panteleimon temple in Vyshhorod indicates that "priest" Yuriy Bolshakov does not know how to make the sign of the cross.
