The head of the Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy, MP Mykyta Poturaev, stated in an interview with the publication "Novynarnia" that a delegation of MPs and representatives of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches should be dispatched to the US to defend bill No. 8371 before Americans.
Poturaev reminded that the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches supported this bill and now should carry out "serious sensitization."
"I am convinced that then we will be able to turn this situation around," noted Mykyta Poturaev.
As the UOJ reported, on March 18, 2024, an emergency meeting of the Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy was held in the Verkhovna Rada in connection with the activities of the head of the international human rights company Amsterdam & Partners LLP, Robert Amsterdam. The authorities fear that he may influence deputies and thus block bill No. 8371.
