British scientist Richard Dawkins expressed hope that Christianity in Europe will not be replaced by Islam.
In an interview with London's LBC radio, Richard Dawkins, when asked about the planned construction of 6,000 mosques in Europe, said he hopes that Christianity will not be replaced by Islam.
At the same time, Dawkins emphasized that he still does not believe in God, in the Resurrection and the Immaculate Conception of Jesus Christ, and also welcomes the fact that the number of believing Christians in Europe is decreasing.
At the same time, he sees himself as part of the "Christian team" and considers himself a "cultural Christian" who enjoys Christian songs and culture.
Dawkins is confident that society would suffer if the Christian heritage were lost, and if cathedrals and churches disappeared.
He also appreciates being able to live in a Christian country in the UK, even if he does not share "a single word" of the Christian faith.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that science popularizer Richard Dawkins stated that "the identity of transgender people is fake" and criticized "black identity".
