Unknown individuals illegally entered the Nativity of Christ UOC temple in Krasyliv, Khmelnytskyi Oblast, and locked themselves inside. The press service of the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy reported that an attempt to seize the church is being made by representatives of the OCU and deputies of the Krasyliv City Council.

Believers are conducting a live broadcast from the scene.

It can be seen that the UOC temple's priest and parishioners are gathered near the church. They cannot enter their church because the door is closed and held from the inside. The priest called 112 to report that an outsider had entered the church who might commit theft.

After this, one of the law enforcement officers at the scene demanded that the man leave the church through the closed door. When he refused, the police said they couldn't do anything.

The priest tried to enter through a window to remove the intruder himself.

Opponents of the UOC have gathered near the temple territory and are engaging in a dispute with believers, broadcasting standard accusations of their ties to Russia. The parishioners explain to them that this is untrue and it is shameful to spread slander. Comments on the broadcast mention seeing local officials in the video.

It soon became known that an activist of the OCU had locked himself inside the temple. Believers are trying to reason with him.

The UOJ is following the developments.

As the UOJ reported, the Chernivtsi Regional Administration showed disrespect for a fallen soldier due to his funeral performed by the UOC.
