The Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) has sent four tons of humanitarian aid to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and residents of the front-line areas, as reported by the Synodal Information and Education Department of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

The humanitarian cargo was delivered by the Deputy Chairman of the Synodal Department of the UOC for Social and Humanitarian Affairs, Archpriest Kostiantyn Dvorovyi, and the Chairman of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Service of the Kyiv Eparchy, Archpriest Andriy Dvorovyi.

The aid was distributed among five military units stationed in various directions – Avdiivka, Lymanske, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, and Bakhmut. The priests brought medicines, blood-staunching bandages, energy drinks, food, hygiene products, tires, and specialized equipment for them.

The brethren of the Sviatohirsk Lavra, people who found shelter in this monastery, and the affected residents of Sloviansk and Kostiantynivka received food, clothing, bedding, hygiene products, medical supplies, toys for children, and more from the priests.

Additionally, humanitarian aid reached the front-line communities that provide daily meals to refugees.

"People are left without work, many without their own homes, under constant shelling from enemy artillery, drones, aircraft, without heating, gas, water. We are grateful to all of you for sharing the warmth of your hearts with those who need help the most right now," expressed gratitude Archpriest Kostiantyn Dvorovyi to all who participated in collecting the aid.

As reported earlier, the Odesa Eparchy continues to open points for medical brigades near temples.
