Metropolitan Seraphim of Piraeus, of the Greek Orthodox Church, stated on June 9, 2024, that "war will rage until the end of history," as reported by Romfea.
During his Sunday sermon, reflecting on the healing of the blind performed by Christ, Metropolitan Seraphim noted that "today we heard about the eternal struggle against the Gospel of Jesus Christ."
He emphasized, "There is great hatred of the world and the devil against salvation and communion with God and unity with the Creator of life," adding that "the faces of the Pharisees embody all persecutors of faith who appear from time to time."
He recounted that the Pharisees did not want to accept the miracle of the blind man's healing "because they did not want to accept God."
"This is happening now and always. People have no logical arguments to interpret life, and they deny it precisely out of hatred for the Creator of life," Metropolitan Seraphim said.
According to him, "war is ongoing and will rage until the end of history, but we have the Virgin Mary as our protection, refuge, and strength, and we turn to Her to raise us to Her Son and grant us communion with Heaven, both here on earth and in endless eternity."
Earlier it was reported, according to Metropolitan Neophytos of Morphou, today's prophecies are becoming news.
