MPs blocked the Parliament's tribune due to the failure to bring anti-church bill #8371 to a vote. As 'Holos' MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak wrote on his Telegram channel, the next Rada sessions have been canceled.

"The next sessions are already scheduled for August," writes MP Zheleznyak.

The media note that the participants in the action are mainly 'European Solidarity' deputies.

As MP Yevhen Shevchenko wrote on his Telegram channel, there is information that dissatisfied MPs plan to block the VR rostrum until August 20.

This information is confirmed by the Head of the relevant committee and one of the lobbyists for banning the UOC, Mykyta Poturaev, who joined those blocking the rostrum.

In his comment on the personal YouTube channel of 'ES' MP Oleksiy Honcharenko, he stated that today the Parliament had enough votes to pass #8371 in the second reading. Stirring up hatred towards UOC believers on live broadcast, he expressed dissatisfaction that the bill was not brought to the session hall because a significant portion of the Servant of the People party deputies are against restricting the rights and freedoms of Ukrainians in this way.

As a result, according to Poturaev's forecasts, the Rada's work will be blocked until the end of the week, and the next time deputies will be able to convene is in August.

As reported by the UOJ, the deputies did not vote to include bill 8371 on the agenda.
