The Volyn regional Council has filed a lawsuit against the Volodymyr-Volyn Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, reports the 'Buh'.

The Volyn regional military administration together with deputies, headed by Ihor Huz, wants to evict the UOC from the Assumption Cathedral in the city of Volodymyr, which also includes the eparchial office and theological school of the Volodymyr-Volynsky Eparchy of the UOC.

The claim will be considered by the Economic Court of the Volyn region.

As reported by the UOJ, the Volyn RSA deputy Andriy Bokoch “warned” that if the UOC believers do not leave the Assumption Cathedral and other premises in Volodymyr, then “a determined public will do its own justice”.
