Facebook deleted the account of the famous atheist and biologist Richard Dawkins because he commented on the victory of intersex boxer Iman Khilif, stating that men should not be allowed to fight against women due to their genetic advantage. The scientist wrote about this on X (formerly Twitter) on August 2.

On his Facebook page, the famous biologist stated that the transgender boxer Iman Khilif, who became an "Olympic champion," is a man because his DNA contains XY chromosomes.

During the Olympics, Iman Khilif achieved crushing victories over competitors with XX chromosomes and ultimately won the Olympic gold. According to Dawkins, boxers like Khilif should not be allowed to fight against women because of their genetic advantage.

Dawkins speculated that this post was the reason Meta deleted his account. The scientist called the incident an act of censorship and urged for a "civilized" discussion of the disagreements.

However, after some time, Richard Dawkins altered his post on X to a more neutral one, which puzzled his followers.

"Your previous version of this post included text that apparently offended FB. Why did you change it?" wrote American blogger David Foster.

As of August 11, Dawkins' Facebook page has been restored. The post about Khilif is no longer among his posts.

As the UOJ reported, the world was outraged by a parody of the "Last Supper" performed by transvestites at the Olympics in Paris.
