Bp Victor: Believers from Montenegro and Georgia join celebrations in Kyiv

Pilgrims from Montenegro and Georgia have joined the Great Cross Procession of the UOC in Kyiv. Bishop Victor (Kotsaba), the vicar of the Kyiv Metropolis, head of the Mission of the UOC to European international organizations, spoke about this on the "Nash" TV channel.
The hierarch said that official representatives of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia, the Antiochian and Serbian Orthodox Churches have already arrived in Kyiv to participate in the celebrations of the UOC dedicated to the 1033rd anniversary of the Baptism of Rus’.
“In addition, a group of pilgrims from Montenegro is now in Ukraine, who have already taken part in the commemoration of the Monk Anthony of Pechersk, the founder of monasticism in our lands. There is also a pilgrimage group from Georgia, which will also join the cross procession, and together we will make this procession,” said Bishop Victor.
Earlier, Bishop Victor of Baryshevka said that representatives of all 53 eparchies of the UOC arrive in Kyiv to participate in the Great Cross Procession.
