Political expert Daniil Bogatyrev told a UOJ correspondent that during the cross procession on the Day of the Baptism of Rus’, you experience unity with the Orthodox people.
“The cross procession is a joint prayer, you can hardly experience anywhere else the feelings that you have during the cross procession, the feeling of unity with the Orthodox people, unity with God. Today is a truly unique feast,” said Daniil Bogatyrev.
“As His Beatitude Onuphry fairly noted in his address, on this day our people were born in the Dnieper font, and today we are celebrating it,” the political expert added.
