Deputy General Director and face of the Crimean Tatar channel ATR (Kyiv) Ayder Muzhdabaev called for the physical destruction of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church during a live broadcast on his YouTube channel.

The blogger believes that the existence of the UOC hinders Ukraine's "complete independence." "There will never be complete independence as long as this church physically exists here," Muzhdabaev said. "The destruction of this church and its expulsion from Ukraine is a matter of national security."

The deputy director and host of ATR channel believes that Ukrainian authorities should "invent" laws that would deprive the UOC of the ability to exist in the country. "We need to pass laws that make it impossible for the enemy church to exist in Ukraine," Muzhdabaev stated. "Laws can be invented."

As reported by the UOJ, the police did not find any incitement to hatred in Muzhdabaev's statements about the UOC, in which he called on Orthodox Ukrainians to "get rid of" the "FSB church of killers" that "casts bullets at the Sviatohirsk Lavra".
