During an open session at the Solomianskyi Court in Kyiv, investigative judge Viktoria Kitsiuk decided to change the preventive measure for UOJ journalist Volodymyr Bobechko. According to the UOJ correspondent, this is stated in the ruling dated September 25, 2024.

During the court session, the issue of extending Volodymyr Bobechko’s detention was reviewed.

The judge ruled to extend the journalist’s arrest until November 1, 2024. However, after granting the defense's petition, the court allowed an alternative preventive measure in the form of a bail set at UAH 1,435,000 (one million four hundred thirty-five thousand hryvnias).

The court’s decision states that once the bail is paid, Bobechko must be immediately released from custody.
