UOC defense files a motion to recuse the judge in Lavra monks eviction case

On October 4, a new hearing took place at the Northern Appeal Court in Kyiv concerning the Upper Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, as reported by the monastery's Telegram channel. Today, UOC lawyers submitted a request for the recusal of the judge. As a result, the court announced a break in the proceedings. The next hearing is scheduled for October 14, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
As reported by the the UOJ, a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recorded a video appeal to the judges overseeing the case regarding the eviction of monks from the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, requesting to be included in the judicial process.
