UOC parishioner fined for comments about OCU in Rivne Region

A court in Volodymyrka, Rivne Region, tried a local resident accused of posting offensive comments in a Facebook group directed against the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU), reports Rivne Vechirne.
According to the court ruling, the man "promoted the exclusivity of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church," of which he is a parishioner.
The accused admitted his guilt and reached an agreement with the prosecutor. The court fined him 3,400 UAH for his actions.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that a man was convicted in Kirovohrad region for his Facebook posts about the OCU.
