Meetings of the clergy held by the African Exarchate of the Russian Church

On January 30 and 31, 2022, with the blessing of Metropolitan Leonid of Klin, Patriarchal Exarch for Africa, meetings of the local clergy were held in the West Kenyan deanery of the South African diocese. Metropolitan Leonid wrote about it in his Telegram channel.
On January 30, a pastoral meeting for 24 clerics was held by ROC priest Georgy Maximov in the church of the Holy Great Martyr Panteleimon in Ebuayangu village. Numerous issues related to the organization of church life were discussed at the meeting.
On January 31, pastoral meetings were held in Lugari and Nandi, in which a total of twenty local priests took part to discuss issues related to the current state and prospects of Orthodoxy in these areas.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that in Africa, the clergy of the Exarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church served the first liturgy.
