For the country’s authority: VR urges believers to unite into one Church
The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy called on all believing Ukrainians to unite into a single Local Church in order to increase the authority of Ukraine in the international arena, the website of the State Service for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience reports.
Such a statement was the result of hearings on the topic “On Threats to the National Security of Ukraine Related to the Activities of Religious Organizations Having Governing Centers on the Territory of the Aggressor State.”
"Dialogue regarding such an association should take place without preconditions and without the use of hate speech," the Verkhovna Rada Committee said in a statement.
As reported by the UOJ, MPs of the Verkhovna Rada announced the spread of the “religion-based” propaganda.
