Pro-OCU school director in Kremenets beats UOC priest’s wife

On August 4, 2022, a criminal case was opened against the director of the Kremenets school Leonid Trachuk for causing bodily harm to Kateryna Dendak, the wife of a priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, reports a UOJ own source.

On August 3 at about 11.30 a.m. in the village of Kremenets, Lutsk district, Volyn region, Leonid Trachuk, a well-known supporter of the OCU, was talking to Kateryna Dendak in high tones. He went from verbal insults to actions, grabbed the woman's phone and hit her several times in the presence of numerous witnesses.

"Trachuk was shouting at her at first, while she was holding the phone in front of her, recording a video, probably. He grabbed the phone and pushed her, then hit her," the source told the UOJ.

On the same day, Kateryna filed a complaint with the law enforcement authorities and a criminal case was opened against the director.

As earlier reported, during the seizure of the UOC church in Pyrohivtsi, OCU raiders beat women and the priest in a crowd.
