Czech Primate congratulates Met Onuphry on his enthronement anniversary

On August 17, 2022, on the day of the eighth anniversary of the enthronement of the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphhry of Kyiv and All Ukraine was congratulated by the head of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia, Archbishop of Prešov, Metropolitan Rostislav of the Czech Lands and Slovakia. This is reported by the Information and Education Department of the UOC.

Metropolitan Rostislav noted that His Beatitude Metropolitan took the helm of church administration in difficult times.

"Strengthened by the words of the Holy Gospel, you devote all of yourself to the clergy and faithful entrusted to you, not ceasing prayer work and not abandoning works of mercy, relieving sorrows and comforting grief. On this significant day, I wish Your Beatitude the archpastoral fortitude, the unfailing help of God in your labors and the prayerful intercession of all the Venerable Kyiv-Pechersk Fathers,'' wrote the Primate of the OCCzLS.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that Patriarch Kirill congratulated the Primate of the UOC on the anniversary of his enthronement.
