Former deputy chief of the SBU, Lieutenant-General Alexander Skipalsky, claimed on the Borkovsky & Valevskaya program on the Espresso TV channel that all the monasteries of the UOC must be subject to purging, because there are "people with the behavior of Russian saboteurs" there.
“We have a very powerful fifth column. These are the people who see themselves as part of Russia ... We must cleanse all Moscow monasteries, from where information is received daily about the presence of people with the behavior and psychology of Russian saboteurs. A lot of work for us. Remember – given the evident threat, the most dangerous blow will be in the back. Therefore, we must be vigilant,” the SBU general noted.
“In case of war – and we all understand that it can be the case – the whole country should fight. It is necessary to mobilize the Ukrainians so that they do not catch swans, but 'Medvedchuks',” added the lieutenant general.
As the UOJ previously reported, the Office of the President registered an appeal of believers about the persecution of the UOC.
